Product Information
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat GPIb. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat GPIb and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat GPIb, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat GPIb.You can calculate the concentration of Rat GPIb in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Note
Please note before ordering a product that some of the data information on our website is derived from biological databases, which may sometimes result in ambiguous or irrelevant product information. This online data sheet is for your reference only. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm and evaluate this information prior to purchasing a kit to ensure that it meets your requirements. Our product are dynamic research tools and they are subject to updates and improvements from time to time. If the latest data for the assay is important to you, then please contact our sales team for the latest version of the data sheet or reach out to our technical support team for a pre-sales consultation before placing your order. We will confirm the latest details of the test method. We cannot guarantee that the data posted online is the most up to date manual, it is provided as an example only. Please refer to the manuals supplied with the assay kit for precise details.
What’s more, due to the limited shelf life of our products, ELISA kits are not normally stored as finished products. Each kit is assembled on site upon receiving your order and is subjected to rigorous factory quality testing. In the actual manufacturing process, the range, sensitivity and precision of the product may vary slightly from the reference data sheet on the website, so please use the product in accordance with the accompanying manual for your experiments. If there are significant changes to the data, our sales team will confirm the order with you prior to shipping.
